Wedding Photojournalist and Documentary Family Photographer in Aarhus, Denmark

Five Year's Experience as a Professional Photographer

My background as a photographer is in documenting events for organisations such as Internet Week Denmark, The American Chamber of Commerce, TEDx, and Viborg Animation Festival.

My event, editorial, and portrait work have appeared in publications in Denmark, the United Kingdom, and Europe. Including the Mirror (UK), Playboy (Belgium), Ekstra Bladed (DK), Jyllands-Posten (DK), and Stiften (DK).

I regularly guest lecture in photography at Business Academy Aarhus and Business Academy Midwest.

MyWed lists me as one of the top 3 wedding photographers in Aarhus.

And, I am one of a handful of photographers in Denmark granted membership to Fearless Photographers, an association featuring the most unique and experienced wedding photographers from around the world.

Wedding Photojournalism

As a wedding photojournalist, I'm dedicated to documenting a wedding as it happens. I waste very little time doing any sort of formal photography, concentrating on capturing candid moments that tell the real story of a couple's wedding day.

This photojournalistic style removes the pressure of performing for the camera during a portrait session, and it also means that couples can devote 100% of their wedding day to spending time with friends and family.

Documentary Family Photography

As a father myself, I know that the most precious moments often happen at home where my children feel the most comfortable. Whether it's enjoying a bedtime story, playing in their room, or, spending time with mum and dad, documentary family photography is about capturing authentic moments of your family together.

Birth Photography

The birth of a baby is always a life-changing event, and, like any other significant event in our lives, it deserves to be documented. Especially when you consider that as parents, we are pre-programmed to forget many of the details of childbirth once the baby arrives because it is such an overwhelming and emotional experience.

Mothers who choose to have the birth of a child documented by a photographer often want to be able to look back on the entire experience of a child's delivery.

And, having a photographer at the birth of a child also means that the father can be 100% present during the entire experience, with no need to scramble for the smartphone during those first precious moments after baby's arrival because a documentary family photographer is there to quietly capture everything for you.
